OKEY is a sweet, helpful librarian bot, who gets too excited about a new book and forgets his duties for a minute.

Character Design
I chose to reference macaws and Shaggy from Scooby Doo since I wanted to create a sort of lovable, goofy and lanky character.

Movements
Since there was no dialogue in this project, OKEY's body language and head feathers should indicate his emotions clearly.

Matchmove Planning
It was my first time doing matchmove and tracking, so I chose the school library, but the lighting, and my poor camera handling skills gave me issues subsequently.

Storyboard
I planned to give OKEY a library environment since he works there, and show him coming across a book that he really wanted to read.

Animatic
The animatic gave me a good idea of how to plan and execute the animation.

Model, rig and texture
Producing the character so that I can animate.

Animation
The animation for OKEY was challenging since the rig had some issues, but it showed the emotional arc well.
